After a morning putting the finishing touches to decorating our spare bedroom and having to send my new camera back to fuji for a repair it was too nice a day to stay in so we headed to Newbourne park for a walk in the lovely sunshine :) We stopped off at a nice farm shop on the way for a big bag of potatoes before donning our walking boots and heading off across the countryside to Hemley.A marsh harrier put in a brief appearance :) and the hedge rows were full of birds. We passed Hemley Church and headed down to the River Deben just above Ramsholt and saw Avocets and lots of curlews :) before heading down river to the creek and back along a path we have never used before past a river with geese and lovely pussy willow - spring is in the air and am looking forward to getting the shortboard out again soon :) We came out near Hemley church again and headed back across the fields with loads of chaffinches on the move, we even spotted a couple of Long tailed tits - and a great afternoon and nice to see the sun out too :)

A few pics at the end of this album :)
